Change in Blog Postings

In 2016, I will be posting once a week, on Wednesdays, instead of twice.

I am doing this to give me time to finish the revision of my grief memoir. For the last nine months I have been trying to do both, and I haven’t succeeded. The memoir has just been sitting there. Staring at me. Waiting.

Until the memoir gets published, you can read my previous book, about hiking in Yosemite when I began my journey through grief. Mountains of Light won the River Teeth Literary Nonfiction Book Prize and was published by the University of Nebraska Press. It is available wherever you buy your books.

  1. I think posting more than once a week is excessive. Good move. Wishing you peace and great use of your extra time to polish the memoir now. I'm going over mine too for January. Only I don't have an agent yet. Congratulations on the River Teeth prize.

  3. Good idea. Necessity for many of us. I'm trying to figure out where to back away so I can focus my fire on the next book.
