Every Wednesday

Every Wednesday I will post something about grief. Sometimes it will be a reflection on an aspect of grief’s landscape. Now and then I will share from my own journey of grief, because in the sharing of our stories we find strength and build a community of people that support one another.

How Fleeting the Motes of Dust

Journal entry 33

How fleeting the motes of dust
that burn in the light before us,
guiding us blindly where we need to go.

How thin the stream
that flows through our lives
and connects us to each other.

How fragile our breath upon this earth.

How lightly love moves toward us
and away

for no other reason than it does.
